NEW: Supported Country functionality; Business layer changes
The following business layer changes have been made to the Supported Country functionality:
NEW: Security Statements; Security Item VIN validation now uses business layer functionality
When entering a VIN for a Motor Vehicle Security Item, the validation was performed behind the form rather than using the business layer functionality available from:
FIX: Account Interest Rate Change; changing the Premium Rate for a Rate Table saves Interest Rate in auditing information
In the Account Interest Rate Change wizard, when changing the Premium Rate for a Rate Table the auditing information written incorrectly notes the Interest Rate was changed. This always states the Interest Rate was changed from a value to 0.
NEW: Countries; add support for PG, Papua New Guinea
A new Country PG, Papua New Guinea has been added to supported Countries.
FIX: Client Statistics; Assets/ Liabilities never shown for Companies
The Asset and Liability block of the Client Statistics Sets summary page was never shown for Companies.
FIX: Account Payment Reverse; Allows form to be dragged to Task Pane when this is not supported
The Account Payment Reverse wizard allows a shortcut to be dragged to the Task Pane. This is not supported and attempting to following the shortcut gives the following message:
NEW: Business Layer; updated finEntityRO object to include Notes property
The finPOWER Connect Business Layer finEntityRO object has been updated to include the Notes property.
NEW: Client Key Details; Updated to show Client Workflows
The built-in Client Key Details Summary Page has been updated to show a list of Client Workflows, as per the Account Key Details page.
FIX: Custom Web Services; Deserialising XML into an object returned Nothing
When deserialising XML into a Script object via a 'Custom Web Service (Web API)' type Script, the deserialisation process may not fail but no object is returned.
NEW: Task Manager; Protected folder colour made darker for clarity
Protected folders in the Task Manager where displayed as a pink colour which some users reported as being difficult to read. This colour has been darkened for clarity.
FIX: Test Web Services form; 'Open Web Services Help' link only enabled if URL ends with forward slash
The 'Open Web Services Help' link on the Test Web Services form was only enabled if the URL ended with '/Api/'. This has been updated so that the link is enabled regardless of whether the trailing forward slash is entered or not.
NEW: Page Sets; New 'Inline Tabs' type Page Sets can be included in Task Manager
The Form Type of a Page Set can now be 'Inline Tabs'.
NEW: Page Sets; New 'PageSetActivate' and 'ActionNotification' events
Page Sets now support 'PageSetActivate' and 'ActionNotification' events.
FIX: Scripts; HTML Reports; 3D Chart orientation incorrect
HTML Report type Scripts have the ability to generate basic charts via the ISChartDetails business layer object.
NEW: Reports and Queries; Report and Query Details summary
When either the Report Execute (report parameters) form or the Run Query wizard are open, right-clicking the Form Tab and selecting Special now has a 'Query and Report Details' option.
FIX: Queues; Parameters now support expressions returning a 'Date Range' or 'Number Range' from another Parameter
Previously, if a Queue Item's Parameter attempted to default from another Parameter (e.g., using the QueueParameter function), if the other Parameter was a Date Range or Number Range, a warning would be given and the Parameter would not default correctly.
NEW: Summary Tables; Actions; Helper methods added to create actions
The following business layer helper methods have been added to the ISSummaryTableActions object to enable any type of Application Shortcut to be used in an Action:
NEW: Task Manager; Folder Filters; Monitored Accounts and Workflows folders can now filter by Account Status
Monitored Accounts and Workflows folders in the Task Manager can now filtered by Account Status.
FIX: Scripts; Summary Page Standard Block Override Scripts cannot access ScriptInfo which includes access to Script Constants
Scripts of type 'Summary Page Standard Block Override' did not have access to the ScriptInfo object; it always returned Nothing.
NEW: New Command Line Parameter to run Application Shortcut at startup
A new command-line startup parameter of 'appshortcut' has been added to allow an Application Shortcut to be run at startup.
NEW: Application Shortcuts; New business layer helper methods added
New business layer functionality has been added to aid the creation of Application Shortcuts from Scripts.
FIX: New Account; Standard Transactions calculated as "Percent of Total Advances" may not charge as expected
Standard Transactions for a New Account with a calculation basis of "Percent of Total Advances" may not charge as expected.
NEW: Workflows; Count of unactioned and unpublised Logs now displayed
The Logs page on the Workflows form now displays a count of unactioned and unpublished Logs as per other forms such as the Accounts form.
NEW: Documents; Word and Excel bulk documents in docx or xlsx format did not jump to bookmarks
When creating a bulk Document, e.g., an Account Advice VBA for multple Accounts via the Publish Documents wizard, a bookmark is inserted into the document (named ranges for Excel documents).
FIX: Page Sets; Restricting visible pages from an Application Shortcut may cause error
Showing a Page Set and restricting visible pages via an Application Shortcut had the following issues:

The Summary Page warning that a Bank Account Enquiry has been purged that is displayed in the Pending Bank Account Enquiries wizard has been updated to use Summary Page (version 2) styles.
NEW: Application Shortcuts; FormAction; Action parameter is case-sensitive
The 'action' parameter for FormAction type Application Shortcuts was case-sensitive, e.g., sending an action of 'sendsms' to the Clients form would not execute the 'SendSMS' action.
NEW: Run Query wizard; Results window title now defaults to 'Saved Settings' name for newly saved Settings
When running a Query from loaded Settings on the Run Query wizard, the Query Results window title reflected the name of the loaded Settings.
NEW: Page Sets; Can now be exported and imported via Export and Import Information wizards
Page Sets can now be exported and imported via the Export and Import Information wizards.
NEW: Page Sets; Sample 'Simple Loan Quote Form' updated to validate Date of Birth
The sample 'Simple Loan Quote Form' Page Set has been updated to validate the Client's Date of Birth to ensure the Client is 18 years old and also to confirm before adding a new Account.
FIX: Application Shortcuts; PageSet; Unhandled exception if an invalid or missing Page Set specified
A PageSet type Application Shortcut produces an unhandled exception if the id of the Page Set is invalid or not specified.
NEW: Task Manager; HTML Report; 'Click Here' summary updated to version 2
When an HTML Report is selected in the Task Manager, a small summary page containing the words 'Click here to view this Report' is displayed.
FIX: Debug Window; Information tab may cause an Unhandled Exception
The Debug Window, Information tab may cause an error "An unhandled exception has occurred. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.".
FIX: Workflow Types; Now prevent changing Target Object Type if Workflows exist for Workflow Type
When updating a Workflow Type, it was possible to change the Target Object Type, e.g., from 'Account' to 'Client', even if Workflows had already been created for this Workflow Type.
NEW: Transaction Batches; new option to make locking optional
A new option has been added to Transaction Batches to make locking optional. This applies to both Transaction and Bank Transaction batches.
