The Test Web Services form now sends an "Accept" HTTP Header which varies based on whether the "Request Format" is set to either XML or JSON.
NEW: Documents; Flag to allow Script to reference Reports has been removed since Scripts can now always reference Reports


The Document page of the Documents form had a checkbox to "Allow Script to create and use Reports and Queries?".

FIX: Settings menu; Task Groups option is available, even when no database is open
The Settings, Task Groups menu option was incorrectly available when no database was open.
NEW: Progress bars; No longer show progress in Windows Task Bar button
Progress bars, e.g., when running Account Processes, no longer show a visual cue (usually a green filling-up background) in the Windows Task Pane button for finPOWER Connect.

FIX: Web Configurations; Addressing; Verify; Spelling mistake in pop up message
The message that displayed when the Addressing Database had been successfully verified using the "Verify" button on the Web Configurations, Addressing page contained a spelling mistake.
NEW: Documents; Web; "This Document is available in finPOWER Connect Cloud?" checkbox now defaults to checked
Previously, the "This Document is available in finPOWER Connect Cloud?" checkbox on Admin; Documents; Web would be unchecked by default.
FIX: HTML Widgets; Client Contact Method; Unused code removed
Redundant Script Code that was no longer used has been removed from the Client Contact Method HTML Widget.
NEW: Support Information; Database Information; Reporting Database added
If the Global Settings, Reporting, "Use a special Reporting Database?" option is checked, then the Reporting Database connection string will now be shown under the "Database Information" section of Support Information.
FIX: Clients; Web Access; "Test Login" button could lock Client's web access and would update the last login details

When attempting to import Identification Types using the File, Import/ Export Information, Import Information form it may fail with a "Failed to Import Information" error.
NEW: Package Import; Dragging and Dropping a Package from OneNote could cause finPOWER Connect to crash
Prior to finPOWER Connect Version 6 it was possible for finPOWER Connect Desktop to crash when attempting to Drag and Drop a Package from OneNote.
NEW: Sample Scripts; New sample script to update Bank Branches (Australia)
The "Script_AustralianBsbImport.xml" script has been added to the "Sample Scripts" folder and will now be provided with finPOWER Connect.
NEW: SMS Messaging; if Branch is cleared the SMS message still uses the original Branch
When sending an SMS Message the Branch will normally default to the Client or Account's Branch. If the User clears the Branch the form will state that the "Global" Cost Centre will be used - however the original Branch shown is still used to send the SMS.
NEW: finDateCycle; add new function GetTermBeginDate
A new function GetTermBeginDate has been added to finDateCycle.
NEW: Blank Tip text; moved to use the standard .NET PlaceholderText property
How the Blank Tip for controls is rendered within finPOWER Connect has changed.

FIX: Account Transaction Allocation; error message incorrect
When re-allocating a Transaction via a script you can set one of the allocations to a positive value and another to a negative value. This is not allowed and will fail when ExecuteCommit is called.

The Monoova Banking Interface displays incorrectly formatted error messages if an error is encountered when executing a request, for example: "This Function Is Not available In Evaluation mode."
FIX: Equifax NZ (VedaXmlNZ); Summary Page; CCR Alerts updated where current month is not yet reported
The Equifax NZ (VedaXmlNZ) Summary Page has been updated to ignore CCR payment statuses where the current month has not yet been reported. This is indicated by a hyphen (-) character in the payment status field.
