Setup fails with request to locate .msi file

TSB1024 | Monday, 30 June 2003

When you run Setup for emPOWER, fdPOWER or finPOWER the following error message may appear "The feature you are trying to use is unavailable" followed by a prompt to locate the emPOWER.msi, fdPOWER.msi or finPOWER.msi file.

This error often occurs on a computer that has had the operating system upgraded, eg from Windows 98 to Windows XP. It indicates that the Windows Installer information has been corrupted.
