Documents; New Loan Letter is now a "Word Document" rather than "Word VBA"
The "New Loan Letter" document supplied with finPOWER Connect is now a "Word Document" rather than a "Word VBA".
What this means is:
- No "Loan_New.dot" is now supplied in the /Templates folder when finPOWER Connect is installed.
- Instead, the following 2 files are supplied:
- Loan_New.docx
- Loan_New.xml
- There is no longer any requirement for Microsoft Office to be installed on the PC publishing this document.
- A PDF file is created instead of a Word file.
To set up a "New Loan Letter" Document in finPOWER Connect:
- From the Admin menu, select Documents.
- Select the "Import" action.
- Locate the /Templates/Loan_New.xml
- Save the new Document record.
NOTE: The New Company wizard has been updated to use the above mechanism to configure the "NL" Document.
