Document Manager is now part of base finPOWER Connect

The finPOWER Connect Document Manager Add‑On allowed electronic documents and files to be displayed on the Client, Account and Security Statement screens. It was typically used to store:

• Scanned images of Drivers Licences, Pay Slips and Bank Statements on the client file.
• Signed contracts and Direct Debit forms on the loan file.
• Photographs of collateral items in the security statement file.
• Out‑bound documents generated within finPOWER Connect, saved for easy retrieval and re‑generation.
• ...and more.

These files could be previewed or opened with a single click.

Change

Document Manager is no longer a stand‑alone add‑on module. The document management functionality described above is included in the base finPOWER Connect licence. Users no longer need to purchase or activate a separate Document Manager module to see the document / file tabs or use document storage features.

Impact

Functionality continues: Document storage, previewing and retrieval work exactly as before. You can still store scanned images, contracts, collateral photographs and generated documents against Client, Account and Security Statement records.

Automatic availability: Screens that previously required the Document Manager module (e.g., Document pages on Client/Account/Security Statement forms) are now available to all users of finPOWER Connect.

Licencing: Because the Document Manager capability has been folded into the base system, your base licence cost may change.

Side note about pricing

Document management features were previously licensed separately. With their inclusion in the core product, your base licence cost may be adjusted.
