HTML Widgets; Security Statements; Improved handling of "Historic" Security Statements

The Security Statement and Security Statement Item HTML Widgets have been improved to better handle Security Statements which are Historic.

Historic Security Statements cannot be edited, and therefore the following behavior has been added:

  • Security Statement HTML Widget
    • If the Security Statement is Historic, an error is returned when the HTML Widget is launched which informs the User that Historic Security Statements cannot be edited.
  • Security Statement Item HTML Widget
    • When attempting to add a new Security Statement Item to a Historic Security Statement, an error is returned when the HTML Widget is launched which informs the User that new Security Items cannot be added.
    • When viewing an existing Security Item on a Historic Security Statement, the Security Statement Item HTML Widget will be launched in read-only mode.

Note: There was never any risk that Historic Security Statements were being incorrectly updated. Previously, the User would have been presented with an error when attempting to save their changes. Now, errors are displayed before the User tries to update anything. Or, the page will just appear read-only from the beginning.

The following HTML Widgets have been updated:

  • HtmlWidget_SecurityStmtEdit
    • Version: 1.09 (11/01/2024)
  • HtmlWidget_SecurityStmtItem
    • Version: 1.18 (11/01/2024)
