Document Manager; new option to delete Document Files when records deleted

A new option has been added to the Document Manager to specify whether Document Files are deleted when a Record is deleted.

Previously Document Metadata was deleted, but Files were never deleted.

Under Tools, Global Settings, Document Manager group, General page a new option "Delete Document Files when deleting Records" has been added - check to delete Files when a record is deleted.

Note; to preserve backwards compatibility the default is unchecked, i.e., do not delete Files.

This applies to:

  • Accounts
  • Account Archives
  • Clients
  • Security Statements (including Items)

Note; in addition there is an existing setting that controls whether the User is asked to delete the Document File linked to the Log.
