Information Lists; could import List values and save with values longer than allowed

You can import Information List "List" values and alternate/ display values using the buttons below the List grid.

Neither the import nor save validated that the number of characters in items exceeded the maximums allowed.

When saving the Information List, List items are now validated for the length of both the value and alternate/ display values (if using). If the text is longer than allowed an error is generated and the save fails.

Note, this might have caused a Client to fail being saved with a error like "Failed to save Client. Failed to add new record in UpdateQueryBuilder. The field is too small to accept the amount of data you attempted to add. Try inserting or pasting less data.". This is because the default value is set on Client from the Information List and may be longer than that allowed.

Therefore, Clients now validate that the default values for properties like "IndustryCode" and "MaritalStatus" are limited to the maximum length allowed.
