User Shutdown Warnings; Incorrectly informs User that "Documents are ready to be Published"
The User Shutdown Warnings (defined under User Preferences, Tasks & Workflows) were not working as expected.
If the option to "Show a warning if there are Documents waiting to by published?" was checked then the option below it to "Check Documents for all Users?" was being incorrectly applied for all but Account Logs.
For example, if the second option was unchecked and there were any Unpublished Client Logs, they would force this message to show, regardless of whether the current User was the Client's Manager.
Conversely, if this second option was checked, then Client Logs ready to be published may have been excluded, thereby causing the User NOT to be notified as expected.
