Information Lists; entering a negative or large value in "Max Length" causes an unhandled exception error

When editing an Information List, entering a large value in "Max Length" may cause an "An unhandled exception has occurred. Value was either too large or too small for an Int32." error.

If a negative value is entered an "An unhandled exception has occurred. MaxLength cannot be less than 0." error occurs.
