Strong Passwords; algorithm used to create a strong password updated

The algorithm to create a strong password has been updated.

It was too heavily weighted towards symbols - meaning around 30% of characters on average could be symbols if omitting easily confused characters. In addition the list of symbols has been simplified to make it easier to communicate.

Symbol characters used when auto-generating a strong password include the following characters:

!@#$%&.?-+*/=

Note, characters treated as "symbols" by finPOWER when determining whether or not a Password contains symbols include the following characters:
