Client Connect Sample Portal; Marketing Messages now available

The ability to have Marketing Messages personalised for the Client is now available.

A Marketing Message will display (if configured from the Portals Configuration manager) if there is a Client Log on the logged in Client which meets the following conditions:

• The subject begins with "Marketing:" (excluding quotes)
• The Action Date is not blank (i.e. has a value)
• The current Database Date falls within the Action Date and Completed Date (Completed Date can be blank)
• The notes field has at least one character

Note: HTML is supported in Marketing Messages.

There is template code in place which allows a dismiss button to display for each Marketing message.

This function uses Page Messages, and could be modified to work however you wish.
