Client Bank Accounts; new wizard to update Bank Accounts on Accounts

A new wizard has been added to the Client form, Bank Accounts grid to update bank account information on related Accounts.

To use, firstly move to the row on the Banking Information grid on the Client form you wish to update on related Account. Then click the "Update Accounts" button below the grid. A list a relevant Accounts is then shown and you can then select which Accounts to update. Click OK to update Accounts.

For example, if a Client has asked you to update Bank Account A to B on all their Accounts.

  • Locate and edit the Client
  • Edit the existing Bank Account A and flag it as "Closed" (optional)
  • Add the new Bank Account B
  • Save the Client
  • Select the new Bank Account (it should be the top row)
  • Click the "Update Accounts" button below the grid
  • In the wizard presented, select the first row with the old Account A
  • Click the "Select Same Bank Account" button below the grid
  • Click the "Check selected row(s)" button
  • Click OK

Note, there may be more than one item per Account listed, see below.

  • Account
    • Must be the main Client for the Account.
    • Status must be Quote or Open
  • Includes Payment/ Banking details for:
    • Incoming Payment (Loans)
    • Outgoing Interest, Maturity (Deposits)
  • Standard Transactions
  • Disbursements
    • Where Payee Type is Account and is still to be processed
