PPSR NZ; Organisation Name allows 125 characters, but Client Name and Legal Name are restricted to 100 characters

There is an issue with Registering a Financing Statement in the NZ PPSR where the Organisation Name is longer than 100 characters.

The PPSR returns an error like "debtors[0].debtorOrganisation.organisationName: Organisation Name does not match the entity name on the NZBN Register. (code 'ppsr.error.nzbn.name.mismatch')".

This is because the PPSR expects an exact match on the Name, and the data stored in finPOWER Connect has been truncated.

finPOWER Connect now allows the Client's Legal Name to be up to 125 characters. So, if you have an Organisation like this make sure you enter the full name in the Legal Name field for the Client.

Note, we will further enhance this in next database change to update the Client Name to 125 characters.
