Account Type; Payments setting "Charge Defaults in partial grace period at end of Interest Period?" not working as expected

The Account Type, Payments page, Grace Period setting "Charge Defaults in partial grace period at end of Interest Period?" may not work as expected under the following circumstances:

1. Payment is due on the same day as Interest.
2. Payment is due on a non-Business Day so the grace date is after the end of the Interest period.
3. Account Processes are run where both the Payment Due and Interest are processed.

Note, Account Processes are designed to be run each day, with the "Payment Due Transactions?" dated one day ahead of "Interest and Fee Transactions?". E.g. Payment Due Transactions dated today and Interest and Fee Transactions dated the previous day. If this is adhered to this issue does not occur.
