Reporting; Workflow Type Details report; fails with 'Index was out of range' error

The Workflow Type Details report may fail with the following error:

Index was out of range. Must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.
Parameter name: index

This occurs when the Display option is set to 'Standard with HTML Summary Page' but the Workflow Type has no items.
