finPOWER Connect 6.00.01 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of finPOWER Connect version 6.00.01.

The Version 6 product line of finPOWER Connect marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the platform, with a primary focus on a substantial technology upgrade. The core advancement in this release is the migration from the .NET Framework to .NET 9, aligning the software with the latest Microsoft technologies for improved performance, scalability, and long-term support.

Overall, finPOWER Connect Version 6 represents a strategic step forward, ensuring the platform continues to meet the dynamic needs of the finance and lending industry through modern architecture and ongoing innovation.   • General
    • Interest in Advance module added as beta.
    • New Comprehensive Credit Report Export HTML Widget.
    • Externally hosted HTML Widgets are now supported (they were not in the initial v6.00.00 release).
    • A new option has been added to Global Settings to ignore pending Bank Interface transactions when closing an Account that has been Refinanced.
    • HTML Widgets and Portals; Address Lookups now support Google's "Places API (New)".
    • Nominated Bank Account has been added to Client Bank Accounts (and a new report added) to support the Non-Bank Deposit Taker Scheme regulations in New Zealand.
    • The third-party GemBox components, used for generating documents such as Word Documents, have been updated.
    • Performance enhancements:
      • Users Global Collection.
      • External Parties Global Collection.
      • Script caching.
  • Scripting
    • Actipro SyntaxEditor software component; Updated to version 25.1.0.
    • Auto-Backup is now supported by Documents and Workflow Types.
  • Credit Enquiry
    • InfoAgent (Australia)
      • New vehicle reports now include mileage that is used to provide a more accurate valuation of the vehicle.
    • GreenID (Australia)
      • Added BiometricSendSms product.
      • Background Check has been updated to version 5.
  • Banking Interfaces
    • Monoova (Australia)
      • Added PayID integration
  • finPOWER Connect Cloud
    • Ezidebit Banking Interface now supported.
    • Comprehensive Credit Report Export added.
    • User Accounts being made inactive while the User is signed in will now present a more user-friendly interface.
    • External Parties form; enhancements to allow filtering and show active/ inactive records.
    • Cost Centre Service DocuSign added.
  • Web Services
    • Improved automatic cleanup of temporary files and folders.
    • Improved handling of Read-Only databases
