Client Files; a File may be deleted if linked to two or more Logs and one of the Logs is deleted
Deleting a Log that is linked to a file will prompt the User to also delete that file. If the User answers Yes, the File is deleted.
If the File is also linked to another Log, Client Identification Item or is the Client Image the User was still asked whether to delete the file and the file could then be deleted - which is incorrect.
This behaviour has been updated so that:
- If deleting one Log and the File is linked to another Log the User is not asked whether to delete the File and the File is not deleted.
- If multiple Logs are being deleted the message presented to the User has been updated from "Do you want to delete the related Files?" to "Do you want to delete the related files (if not linked to other Logs)?"
- This message will only appear if one of the Logs has a related file that can be deleted.
- Multiple Logs can be deleted if:
- They are in a conversation thread .
- The User is deleting Logs from the Log grid and has selected more than one Log.
This applies to:
- Account Logs
- Account Application Logs
- Client Logs
- Security Statement Logs
- Security Statement Item Logs
- User Logs
