Scripts; Can now use Microsoft's Roslyn compiler
The way Scripts in finPOWER Connect are compiled can now be configured to use Microsoft's Roslyn compiler (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roslyn_(compiler)).
The Global Settings form, Developer, General page has a new setting to "Use Roslyn compiler?". This is turned off by default for maximum backward compatibility.
WARNING: We do not suggest this is enabled in a production environment without very thorough testing.
NOTE: The Roslyn compiler will NOT be used when running the 32-bit version of finPOWER Connect.
