InfoAgent "Driver Licence Check (NZ)" Credit Enquiry; better handling of non-ASCII characters
The InfoAgent "Driver Licence Check (NZ)" Credit Enquiry does not handle diacritical or other non-ASCII characters.
For example, sending the Last Name "Tāwhiri" will return the server error "The character ā is non-ASCII and is not valid for this service".
finPOWER Connect now updates diacritical characters to their base letter, e.g. "Tāwhiri" is sent as "Tawhiri" - this applies to the Last Name field.
Other characters, such as Chinese characters, will fail validation with the message "Invalid Last Name. One or more characters are not supported by the service provider."
