Credit Bureau; ABNLookup Enquiries; Non-Latin characters may be replaced

The ABNLookup enquiry requests have been updated to replace letters that include an accent with their standard letter equivalent. For example, the character "Ā" will be replaced by "A".

ABNLookup does not accept requests containing these characters, and previously those requests would have been rejected with a server error.

Other non-Latin characters or symbols, including non-printable ACSII characters, will result in a failure message "Invalid Company Name. One or more characters are not supported by the service provider."
