The desktop compatibility layer used by FormShow and PageGoto Application Shortcuts has been enhanced to match captions and handle additional incompatible captions

Recently, a compatibility layer was added to assist "FormShow" Application Shortcuts that work under finPOWER Connect desktop not working as expected when running under finPOWER Connect Cloud.

The following is an example of an Application Shortcut that would not work as expected:

app://FormShow?form=SecurityStmts?id=SS2&page=PPSR Transactions

In desktop, the page parameter, "PPSR Transactions" would attempt to match the caption of a page on the Security Statements form. finPOWER Connect Cloud did not do this since each tab has a unique Id (that can be completely different to the caption), e.g., PPSRTransactions.

If no tab is found with a unique Id that matches the specified page parameter, a search is now performed to attempt to match the caption, i.e., the above example will now work.

There are certain differences that are handled independently, e.g.,

• Account, Standard Transactions (since the caption in finPOWER Connect Cloud is "Std Transactions" to preserve horizontal space).
