Portals; Error 503 (Service Unavailable) can now be manually overridden

503 errors are triggered in Portals where:

• Web Services are flagged as unavailable.
• The Portal being accessed is inactive.

Previously, a 503 Service Unavailable error could not be overridden, and the User would always see the finPOWER Connect Logo, along with:

503 - Portal is currently unavailable Portal is inactive

This error can now be overridden in the same way 401, 404 and 500 errors can be. This allows different wording, styles and images to be used to better match the rest of the Portal. The new custom Page code "ERROR_503" is available and must be configured to allow Unauthenticated access, otherwise the custom Page will not be used. Pasting the Template HTML and JavaScript on this Page will paste the default 503 error HTML.

Note: Due to the way in which the 503 page is accessed by the server, Literals are not supported for an overridden 503 error page.
