HTML Widgets; Security Statement Item UserData is not saved when adding / editing via the New Account HTML Widget in finPOWER Connect 3.04.04
Security Statement Item UserData will not be saved on Security Items when:
- Using the New Account HTML Widget to add Security Items to a New / Quote Account, and;
- UserData is being entered for the Security Statement Items.
Note: This does not apply to the Account UserData being added via the HTML Widget, only Security Item UserData.
It has been identified that this issue is specific to finPOWER Connect version 3.04.04. There is a temporary fix for databases still using this version - please contact your Dealer or Intersoft Systems Limited for the temporary fix until such time as the database can be upgraded to at least 3.04.05.
This issue was introduced whilst addressing the following issue:https://www.intersoft.co.nz/Support/KbArticle.aspx?id=19076
This temporary solution will mean that data is no longer lost, however it does negate the changes made as per the Knowledge Base link above. User Defined indexes will not be respected; however, it has been decided that this is much less significant than losing all Security Statement Item UserData.
A complete solution, which includes respecting User Defined indexes will be introduced in version 4 of finPOWER Connect.
