Right-clicking item in Administration view does not show Recent and Bookmarked records as it should

Right-clicking an item in Administration view was not showing a list of Bookmarked and Recent records. Instead, a menu containing a single option to "Open in finPOWER Connect (Desktop)" was displayed instead.

This only occurred when the Device Options (under the User menu) "Allow opening of links in finPOWER Connect Desktop (via right-click)?" box was checked.
