Background Processes; Export Bank Transactions now supported as a Scheduled Process
The Export Bank Transactions process is now supported as a scheduled Background Process for databases where Web Services have been configured. This includes file-based Exports, and where applicable, API-based (Bank Interface) Exports for Interfaces such as Zepto (formally Split Payments).
File-based exports provide several configuration items to ensure they best suit the individual requirements of Finance Companies. This includes the ability to:
- Immediately export the file or not
- This provides the flexibility of allowing the scheduled process to generate the Batch but relies on manual review before exporting.
- Attach the Export File to the summary email once the process has completed.
- Similar to other Scheduled Processes, a PDF will be included in the summary email detailing the Bank Transactions included in the export.
- Export the File to a specific location on the file system (provided it is accessible via Web Services).
- Export the File as an Export Package, downloadable via finPOWER Connect Cloud.
- A User Range can be specified in the configuration to allow the Export Package to be copied to multiple Users via finPOWER Connect Cloud.
Bank Interface Exports do not require as much configuration, as processing transactions is handled automatically by Web Services.
