Pending Service Request wizard; fails to load

The Pending Service Request wizard may fail to load if an illion Bank Statement is corrupt.

You may see an error like "Failed to refresh pending Service Requests. Failed to refresh Status on pending Service Request. Failed to create Bank Account Enquiry Response from Service Log. Failed to create illion BankStatements Bank Account Enquiry Response. Response data not found.".

The list should now load - and the item that fails will show a status of "*ERROR*", and the Summary Page below the grid will show an error message.

You can remove the item by following these steps:

  • Select all rows and uncheck Include.
  • Tick Include for the row that won't load.
  • Below the grid click the "Abort" button.
  • Answer "Yes" to confirm.

The Status of the Service Log will change from "In Progress" to "Aborted". The details of the Bank Statement request will still error - but the item is no longer stuck "In Progress".

Note. you may be able to retrieve an existing Bank Statement Verification, i.e., the one that failed, by following these steps:

  • Find the Service Log with a Product Id "Create Request" and note the Response Reference.
  • Open the Bank Account Enquiry form.
  • Select the Client, Service, and check "Existing Referral Code",
  • Enter the Response Reference from the Create Request as the Referral Code.
