Changes for "Demo mode"

"Demo mode" is a special mode that finPOWER Connect Cloud and Web Services can be put into for demonstration purposes such as the demonstration available from the Intersoft website.

This means that a demo.txt file exists in the App_Data folder for both Web Services and finPOWER Connect Cloud and contains "Y". By default, this file should not exist or, if it does exist, should contain "N".

The following changes have been made for "Demo mode":

• Global Settings now displays under the User menu (for Administrators) but does not allow editing of settings (as per User Preferences)
• User the Administration view, User Security tab, the following no longer have Add or Duplicate buttons:
• Users
• User Groups
• User Policies
• Permissions
• The Permission Summary will no longer display Delete (for User Permissions) and Edit buttons
• The following HTML Widgets have been updated to respect the finBL.DemoMode flag and display as read-only:
• HtmlWidget_PermissionEdit
• Version: 1.01 (6/01/2021)

NOTE: Although the User Groups and User Policies forms had Add and Duplicate buttons and displayed the drilldown button to edit a record, neither of the forms had yet been implemented in finPOWER Connect Cloud hence no changes were required to these HTML Widgets.
