Deposit Accounts; new option to disallow Withdrawals and Transfers that would place the Account into a Negative Balance
A new setting for Deposit Accounts has been added to prevent a Withdrawal or Transfer either taking a Deposit into a negative balance or increasing a negative balance.
This setting is found under Account Types, Other page "Allow Withdrawals (including Transfers) to place Account into a negative Balance?".
This is a breaking change as the default setting is False, i.e., a Withdrawal cannot be posted Deposit Account if it takes it into a negative balance, whereas previously you could. Note, a warning was given in the Account Withdrawal wizard, but you could still continue.
This change applies to the Account Withdrawal wizard, Account Transfer wizard, Transaction Entry and Bank Entry as well as Standard Transactions on an Account.
Note, a negative Withdrawal can be processed via Transaction Entry and Bank Entry.
