General Ledger Export; fails if not licensed for Accounting Interface and using new interface

The General Ledger Export includes emPOWER File, Save and Direct options by default. The Accounting Interface Add-On adds other GL interfaces such as MYOB and Xero.

In 2019 the General Ledger interface was rewritten and this new interface can be turned on via Global Settings, General page, GL and Accounting page "Use new Interface?".

However, if not licensed for the Account Interface the "New Interface" does not work. When exporting a file it fails with the following error message "The General Ledger Export was created but failed to be exported. To export this Batch, Re-Export batch '[BatchId]'. Failed to perform General Ledger Export. You are not licensed for the Accounting Interface Add-On.".
