Clients; various enhancements for NZ High-Cost Consumer Credit Contracts

Various enhancements have been made to the Client form.

  • Key Details Summary Page
    • A new warning is included if there is more than one open High-Cost Consumer Credit Contract.
    • At the top of the Accounts block additional warnings are shown.
      • This provides a starting place to help identify whether the person is a Repeat Borrower.
      • Warnings include:
        • If there are more than 1 open High-Cost Consumer Credit Contract.
        • If there is 1 open High-Cost Consumer Credit Contract.
        • If there has been any High-Cost Consumer Credit Contracts closed in the last 15 days.
        • The number of High-Cost Consumer Credit Contracts opened in the last 90 days.
        • If the last 90 days starts before 1 June 2020, and there have Consumer Loans opened in this period.
  • Accounts page, a new "Consumer Regulation Type" column has been added.

Note, finPOWER Connect provides information to assist you in determining if providing a High-Cost Consumer Credit Contract to a consumer meets repeat borrower restrictions in the Act. This also helps provide information to the consumer or other Creditor if they request such information. However, you cannot solely rely on this information.
