Forced Test Mode; new option to ignore errors where a service does not support Test Mode

A new option has been added to ignore errors where a service does not support a Test Mode.

This new setting "Ignore Errors (applies to Messaging Services)?" is found under Global Settings, Cost Centres group, General page.

This only applies to the following services:

  • Message Providers/ SMS
    • ClickSend (Intelligent Technologies)
    • TxTStream New Zealand (.NET V2 interface)
    • TxTStream New Zealand (XML over HTTP interface)
  • Message Providers/ Email
    • MailTo Protocol
    • Microsoft Outlook 2000
    • SMTP

In other words, all Messaging services. No error is generated, and the SMS or Email is not sent, therefore the process continues normally.

Other Services, such as Credit Bureaus, will still error, as the service cannot just continue without producing a proper response.
