NZ Government NZBN Entity Details; new search criteria added to Business Layer

The NZBN Entity Details product for the NZ Government service has new search criteria that can be used from the Business Layer. Note, this search is not currently available in the finPOWER Connect User Interface.

To use this functionality you need to set the ChangeEventDescription code together with the StartDate and EndDate properties.

The valid list of Change Events are:

• Annual Return filed
• Annual Return filing month
• Industry classifications
• Constitution
• Country name
• Email addresses
• Financial Reporting Act reporting month
• GST status
• Insolvency details
• Location identifier

• New businesses created in the specified time period
• NZSX Code
• Other addresses
• Persons Authorised For Service
• Phone numbers
• Physical address
• Principal place of activity
• Record addresses
• Registered address
• Business registration date
• Role - any changes
• Role - Company Director
• Role - Individual Partner
• Role - Other Partner
• Role - Sole Trader
• Role - Individual Trustee
• Role - Other Trustee* Shareholding
• Share Register addresses
• Business start date
• Business status
• Status description
• Trading names
• Ultimate Holding Company
• Website

NOTE: Currently you can only specify one Change Event, but in the future MBIE will support a comma separated list of Change Events.

NOTE: Dates prior to the 15 June 2017 will return unreliable data and can cause errors.
