Banking Interface; Monoova; New ISO-aligned PayTo purposes added
Monoova's Release 10 (R10) introduces new ISO-aligned PayTo purpose codes, which replace three existing codes for new PayTo agreements. The following purposes have been added to the Monoova Banking Interface service:
- Home Loan Repayment (HLRP)
- Utilities (UBIL)
- Gambling or Gaming (GAMB)
- Refund (REFU)
Monoova accepts the new purposes from 4 May 2027. From 3 December 2027, new agreements must use them in place of Mortgage (MORT), Utility (UTIL) and Gambling (GAMP). Existing agreements are not affected.
An agreement created with one of the new purposes before 4 May 2027 will be rejected by Monoova, so avoid setting one as an Account Type's default PayTo purpose before then.
Home Loan Repayment, Utilities and Gambling or Gaming can also be selected as an Account Type's default PayTo purpose. When a PayTo agreement is created against a Zepto (Split) Australia payment method, these defaults are applied as Mortgage, Utility and Gambling respectively.
