Optimised XML saved with regards Account calculations

finPOWER Connect saves a lot of information regarding an Account. This includes a full opening schedule and interest audit trail when creating a new Account. This means the original Account can be reviewed in detail.

The downside is this information requires a lot more disk space. Note, this can vary greatly depending of factors such as the Term of the Loan, Payment frequency, ongoing fees etc.

Most information is stored as XML data in the database. However, XML is a very verbose language to store data in.

The version of finPOWER Connect has optimised the XML generated. This includes shortening XML names, eg "" might be abbreviated "" and optimising repeating or unnecessary information, eg Interest transactions can only be allocated to Interest.
