Motorweb; NZTA privacy changes

From May 1st NZTA will not return any personal information about past individual owners. This means the owner details may be suppressed and the owner name is returned as "INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE".

After a VIR is loaded, information on the Security Item is compared to the information in the VIR. If details have changed finPOWER Connect gives you an option to update the Security Items details.

When determining whether or not to update the owner details, if the name is returned as "INFORMATION NOT AVAILABLE" then name is not updated.
