Support added to version 6.00.01 for externally hosted HTML Widgets
Support for externally hosted HTML Widgets has been added.
URL Format Changes
Versions prior to 6 used a URL format (e.g., in an IFRAME) as per the following example:
http://localhost/WS4/External/HtmlWidgetHost1.aspx?_widget=QQTHWD
Version 6 uses a new, simplified format, e.g.:
http://localhost/WS6/Widget/QQTHWD
The "Test Web Services" form has an "HTML Widgets" tab that can be used to generate sample HTML to host an HTML Widget. This has been updated to use the new format URL.
