Send SMS and Send Email; New "Current User" Smart Tags are available

The following Smart Tags are now available for SMS's and Email's sent from finPOWER Connect:

• [CurrentUser.UserId]
• [CurrentUser.Name]
• [CurrentUser.JobTitle]
• [CurrentUser.Email]
• [CurrentUser.Facsimile]
• [CurrentUser.Mobile]
• [CurrentUser.Phone]

When referenced, the Current User publishing the SMS / Email will have their details appended to the message.

Additionally, various functions in finDocumentFunctions have been updated to also respect these new replaceable tags, meaning they can also be used in Document generation. A few examples of these functions are:

• finDocumentFunctions.ResolveTaggedMessage
• finDocumentFunctions.ResolveTaggedMessageFromObjects
• finDocumentFunctions.ResolveTaggedMessageFromObjectsHtml
• finDocumentFunctions.ResolveTaggedMessageHtml

Note: This should be used with caution when unattended processes are being used; either through Windows Task Scheduler, or finPOWER Connect Scheduled / Background Processes handled by Web Services. This is because the Current User at the time of publishing may be different which may result in unexpected information in outgoing communications.
