HTML Widgets; Default chart colours have been updated and can now be customised
Previously, the chart colours used in charts shown in the Grid Visualiser (e.g., the Visualisation tab for Task Manager 2 Monitored Accounts) were based around a lot of greens in the first few segments which didn't offer much contrast.
These colours have been update to have more variation.
The finPOWER Connect Cloud Configuration form, Theme, Other page now allows a comma-separated list of HTML colours to be specified to use as the default colours for charts. This is a dropdown list with a sample entry corresponding to the previous chart colour list.
Colours can be entered as named HTML colours, e.g., "Limegreen" however, these will be converted to RGB HTML syntax when saved. Invalid colours will be converted to either black (#000000) or pink (#FF69B4) when the colours are previewed. When the finPOWER Connect Cloud Configuration form is re-opened, this list will have been updated to include these valid HTML colour.
NOTE: The corresponding form in finPOWER Connect Cloud (available from the User menu) has been updated to show this new setting.
