ISExcel; Worksheet Name should be truncated to 31 characters
An Excel Worksheet Name cannot be longer than 31 characters.
If you set the Name to a string longer than 31 characters, when you open the Workbook Excel warns "We found a problem with some content in 'filename.xlsx'. Do you want us to try to recover as much as we can? If you trust the source of this workbook, click Yes.". The Workbook opens fine, and the Worksheet Name is truncated to 31 characters.
However, this message is confusing and therefore additional validation has been added to finPOWER Connect.
The following Business Layer functionality has been updated:
New function:
- ISExcelWorkbook.IsWorksheetNameValid
Properties updated to validate the Name using this new function:
- ISExcelWorksheet.Name setter
- ISExcelWorksheets.Add
- ISExcelWorksheets.Insert
