Deposit Interest Transaction Reversal; Withholding Tax Type on reversed Transaction may be incorrectly set to Null
When reversing a Deposit Interest Transaction, the Withholding Tax Type on the reversed Transaction may be incorrectly set to Null when it should be set to Not Applicable.
Note, this is not a major issue, but a difference that may trip up queries comparing this column to Null versus Not Applicable.
To recreate:
- Add and commit an Interest Transaction to a Deposit via Transaction Entry.
- Make sure the Transaction Type used is for an Interest Element and importantly that "Credit Interest?" on the Other page is unchecked.
- The Transaction created has a Withholding Tax Type of 0 - Not Applicable.
- On the Account reverse the Transaction.
- The Transaction created has a Withholding Tax Type of Null.
