Portals; Client Portal Login Page; Client Id blank tip is now more dynamic

The "Client Id" field on a Client-based Portal using the standard login form previously had a static blank tip of "Client Id". This has been updated, based upon the "Other Authentication options" on the Security page of the Portal.

The blank tip will now be set as follows:

  • A sign in method of "Client Id or Web User Id" and where the "Web User Id is Email for Password Reset and MFA?" option is checked:
    • "Client Id / Email Address" will be used.
  • A sign in method of "Web User Id" and where the "Web User Id is Email for Password Reset and MFA?" option is checked:
    • "Email Address" will be used.
  • A sign in method of "Web User Id" and where the "Web User Id is Email for Password Reset and MFA?" option is unchecked:
    • "Client Web Id" will be used.
  • In all other scenarios:
    • "Client Id" will be used.

Additionally, the password reset email which is emailed when a password reset has been requested will reference the above information as well. The only exception to this is instead of displaying "Client Id / Email Address", it will primarily use email address (if a Client has a Web User Id) and only show Client Id if no Web User Id is available.
