Cost Centres; SMS Messaging credentials may be lost if switching to and from the old and new Interfaces
SMS Messaging credentials and other properties may be lost in Cost Centres.
To recreate following these steps.
- Under Global Settings ensure the New Messaging Interface is in use.
- Re-open the Database.
- Open a Cost Centre and Edit.
- Define credentials for one of the Services noted below and Save.
- Switch to the Old Messaging Interface in Global Settings.
- Re-open the Database.
- Open the Cost Centre and Edit.
- The SMS Messaging services are not shown.
- Edit the Cost Centre, change a value and Save.
- Switch to the New Messaging Interface in Global Settings.
- Re-open the Database.
- Open the Cost Centre.
- The Credentials entered earlier will no longer be present.
Note, this applies to the following services:
- ClickSend,
- SMS Fusion
- Twilio
- TxtStream
Note, auditing is not recorded as when the Cost Centre is saved the service is not available.
