Electronic Signatures; "Enable Electronic Signature?" setting is ignored

The "Enable Electronic Signature?" Electronic Signatures setting is ignored in the following scenario.

  • On the Cost Centre, configure and get one of the Electronic Signature services working. Set as the default Service for Electronic Signatures.
  • On the Cost Centre, Options page uncheck "Enable Electronic Signature?"
  • Try sending an Electronic Signature - it will still send.

This has been corrected, an Electronic Signature will no longer be able to be sent and an error "[Service Name] Electronic Signature Service is disabled." will be reported.

NOTE: If the Electronic Signature is in flight it will continue to be updated etc, this only prevents new Documents from being sent for signature.

In addition the finBL.ElectronicSignature.IsServiceAvailableAndConfigured() function has been updated. The original function did not support Branches and therefore Cost Centres - so has been obsoleted. A new function has been added that includes Branch.
