Adobe Sign Electronic Signature service; updated to use the improved OAuth version 2 API

The Adobe Sign Electronic Signature service has been updated to use the improved OAuth version 2 authentication API.

To use the new OAuth version for an existing Adobe Sign Account, you should Refresh the Authentication Token in your Cost Centres. Note, this requires your Adobe Sign Email and Password.

  1. Open Cost Centres, Adobe Sign page, Credentials tab.
  2. Make sure the Authentication URL includes "/v2" at the end of the URL, for example, https://secure.na1.echosign.com/public/oauth/v2. Use the dropdown to select the correct data centre shard.
  3. Click the Refresh button to the right of the Authentication Token and when requested enter you Adobe Email and Password.
    • If you recieve the error "Unable to authorize access because the client configuration is invalid: invalid_request" this indicates the data centre shard selected is likely incorrect.
    • This will update the Authentication Token and API Access Point (if required).
  4. Once complete, click "Verify" to test the connection to Adobe Sign works correctly.

WARNING: Any new connections to the Adobe Sign API must use the new OAuth 2 - it is the default. In addition, existing connections will be deprecated in the future.
