Permissions; New "Cloud" section added for finPOWER Connect Cloud

A new "Cloud" section has been added to the Permissions Explorer.

This allows Permissions to be defined that are related directly to finPOWER Connect Cloud but do not have a corresponding non-Menu permission available.

Examples of these types of permissions are the External Parties form which can only be permissioned out using the "Menu.Admin.ExternalParties" permission.

Since there is no "fixed" menu in finPOWER Connect Cloud, making use of "Menu." permissions does not make sense.

Previously the following permissions have been used by finPOWER Connect Cloud to exclude Admin-based forms:

• Admin.ExternalParties
• Admin.Pools
• Admin.Users

These permission keys were actually designed to prevent Users from adding, editing or deleting Admin type items; not to prevent them viewing the forms and have hence been replaced by the following:

• Cloud.Form.ExternalParties
• Cloud.Form.Pools
• Cloud.Form.UsersAndResponsibilities

All of these permissions are "denied by default".

NOTE: Each of these permissions describes "forms" in the plural since typically there is a "list" form and a "record" form for each.
