Account Disbursements; Payee Type of "Account" is not valid when the Account is Closed
Once an Account is Closed, an Account Disbursement with a Payee Type of "Account" cannot be approved. This is because a Closed Account cannot have Transactions posted to it.
When approving the Disbursement an error message like "Failed to approve Account Disbursement '[Id]'. Failed to commit Batch. Cannot partially commit Batch. Account '[Id]' has an invalid status of 'Closed'." will be displayed.
Therefore, when attempting to Close an Account, if there are Held or Pending Disbursements to a Payee Type of 'Account'. the close will fail with the message "Cannot Close an Account whilst there are Held or Pending Disbursements to be paid to the 'Account'.".
In addition, a Disbursement cannot be added with a Payee Type of 'Account' if that Account is Closed or Closed Pending.
