Documents; NZ CCCFA Revolving Credit Loan Contract has been updated to a "Word Document" file type

The New Zealand Revolving Credit Loan Contract Document supplied with finPOWER Connect is now a "Word Document" rather than a "Word VBA" file type.

WARNING: As this is an important document, you should ensure it is fit for your purpose and meets all your legal requirements.

What this means is:

  • "Loan_Contract_NZCCCFA_RC.dot" Word VBA Document has been removed from the installation of finPOWER Connect.
  • The following files are now supplied:
    • "Loan_Contract_NZCCCFA_RC.docx"
    • "Loan_Contract_NZCCCFA_RC.xml"
  • There is no longer any requirement for Microsoft Word to be installed on the PC publishing this document.
    • By default a PDF file is created instead of a Word file.
  • It is Electronic Signature enabled, via a constant. However, you may need to modify the "docx" document and script to cater for Electronic Signatures, e.g. to add signing for your own Finance Company.

To set up the document in finPOWER Connect:

  • From the Admin menu, select Documents.
  • Click the "Import" action.
  • Locate and import the "Loan_Contract_NZCCCFA_RC.xml" file in the Templates folder.
  • Update Constants as required.
  • Save the new Document record.

The default Document code is "LCRC

NOTE: The New Company wizard has been updated to use this new Document.
