Microsoft Azure SQL Database provider; BETA release of database driver

A BETA of the Microsoft Azure SQL Database driver has been released.

This allows you to directly connect to a Microsoft Azure SQL Database, as opposed to a SQL Server database hosted in a Microsoft Azure virtual Server.

Azure SQL Databases do not support Trusted Connections, therefore each User must be setup and maintained with an Azure Login.

The Azure SQL Database provider takes care of creating, updating and deleting Logins and Users so that it is easy to login and use finPOWER Connect.

In finPOWER Connect, under Global Settings, General page, the Indirect Database Authentication details should be setup as Server Admin Login.
