Centrix NZ Credit Bureau; new Client Monitoring facility added

A new Client Monitoring facility has been added for the Centrix NZ Credit Bureau. Once a Client Monitor is loaded, you will be advised, via an email from Centrix, as new information about that Client is added into Centrix's database. The information checked and returned depends upon the "Monitor Type" defined under Global Settings.

Note, this facility only applies to Consumers, i.e. Individuals and Sole Traders.

Firstly, under Tools, Global Settings, Clients group, Centrix NZ page, Monitoring Options, check "Use Monitoring?". You can optionally define the default Type and Reason for the Monitor. Normally set Type to "All Activity" and leave Reason blank.

Under Admin, Client Types, check the "Use Credit Bureau Monitoring?" for those Client Types you wish to Monitor. Note, for Centrix, only Individuals and Sole Traders can be monitored.

Once you have done this, the Client Key Details page should include a new "Credit Bureau Monitoring" block. From here you can Start, Review and Stop monitoring for a Client.

Starting a Monitor will create a Client Log. This is linked to a special Service Log that is marked as "In Progress" - until it is Stopped. These "In Progress" Logs can be seen under the Process, Pending Service Requests wizard. To view them enter the Product Class as "CreditBureauMonitor" and uncheck "Only include items due to be checked?".

If the Client's details change, e.g. the address changes, an additional "Refresh" button is shown. Clicking this will Stop the existing Monitor and Start a new one with the updated information.

Note, two new Permission Keys have been added to allow/ deny Users the option to Start or Stop Monitoring. The Keys are "Client.CreditBureauMonitor.Start" and "Client.CreditBureauMonitor.Stop" respectively.
